History
Our school, Uma Matric Hr Sec School, was founded by Honorable Mr. M. HARIDHAS on 2nd June 1995.
Mr. K. MAHADEVAN, MA BEd MA MPhil the correspondent of the school. The mission of our School is to provide each student with various educations, and a supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. Our School team joins the parents and community to assist the students in developing skills to become independent and self-sufficient.
The school can be proud of its faculty members. The aim of the school is fixed forever at the maximized teaching through the modern curriculum to make the students equal with their counterparts in cities. Our school is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
In our library, the collection includes books, newspapers, magazines, reference materials, CDs, and DVDs. The school subscribes to over 6 newspapers, and 10 magazines both English and Tamil.
Our school has Audio-Visual (smart class) hall. They are studying through pictures, so they can easily understand it. We have a computer lab also. School offers computer science and information technology.
